Quality Environmental and Ethical Policies

Key Concepts for Direktronik AB are Responsibility and Quality where environmental issues are an important part of our work.

Direktronik continuously reviews operations, practices and processes to achieve a minimal negative environmental impact. Direktronik environmental work is based on each person's genuine concern for the environment and caution as to the shortcomings in our approach. This requires participation and commitment from our employees and suppliers.

Direktronik AB will

  • Engage in active environmental work and motivate employees to participate
  • Strive to choose products and services with minimal environmental impact, without affecting the quality
  • Define requirements for suppliers and partners and request commitment for these requirements
  • Offer sustainable options for our customers regarding e.g. delivery
  • Choose environmentally friendly office supplies
  • Sorting packaging and office waste for recycling. Direktronik AB is connected to REPA – a business services company for enterprises recycling of packaging
  • Promote the collection and recycling of electrical and electronic components and equipment. Direktronik AB declares sale to Elkretsen – a business services company for the environmentally sound recycling of electronic products (Gröna Kretsen)
  • Work to comply products with REACH, RoHS 3 and WEEE Directives
  • Continuously work to improve activities and to mitigate environmental hazardous substances, by following legislation and regulations in the environmental field

Quality Policy

We shall always be a reliable and trustworthy partner to our Customers and Suppliers.

We must always comply with contractual arrangements with customers in terms of support, service and deliverables.

All employees must be familiar with and take responsibility for the achievement and further development of the company's quality policy.

We must always comply with routines from our quality management system.

Responsibility Policy & Code of Ethics 

Direktronik's Corporate Responsibility Policy and Code of Ethics supports the ten principles of the UN global compact. Any violations of our Code of Ethics are sanctioned with trade limitations. Suppliers that meet our Code of Ethics are preferred. (see our Code-of-conduct for further details)

Direktronik takes into account the requirements, rules and legislation, voluntary agreements and Codes of conduct that are applicable in the countries where we trade. We require the same from our partners and expect that they put forward equivalent requirements on their partners.
Our partners are requested to provide us with information and to demonstrate its continuous improvement through periodic updates, upon demand by Direktronik.

Direktronik strive to raise awareness among our partners on these issues and to encourage the development of sustainable and prudent use of environmental, ethical and social issues.

Environment

Our suppliers must

  • Promote application of Green Technology through their research and development
  • Promote Environmental Awareness
  • If uncertain environmental risk, apply the precautionary principle
  • Minimize the use of Bromine, Chlorine and Phosphorus compounds in their products and within the production of the products

Labour

Our suppliers must

  • Not participate in any kind of slavery or forced labour
  • Curb child labour
  • Prohibit discrimination in the workplace
  • Enable the right to collective bargaining and union formation

Human rights

  • Respect and protect human rights
